Science - Livestock / Animal Husbandry / Slaughtering | | English term or phrase: recoil suppressor | Good evening everyone. I'm translating slaughterhouse working procedures and have stumbled upon the term "recoil suppressor" in reference to a bolt gun. CONTEXT:
"The recoil suppressor is a Redundancy 2 element. Like all other elements in this class, it must be checked at the beginning of each work day but need not be checked between animals."
