English term or phrase: plaster and other gypsum materials
Hello all,

I am translating a document about building materials. In one of the paragraphs I've found:
"we have delivered 1MT of plaster and other gypsum materials".

I have always seen "plaster" and "gypsum" translated in the same way in Spanish (as "yeso"), but I know "plaster" also means "escayola". The problem is that I am not sure I can say "Hemos suministrado 1TM de escayola y otros materiales de yeso" because "escayola" sounds odd here.

Any suggestion??

Thankss!!

escayola y demás materiales de yeso
Explanation:
escayola and yeso is not the same for builders.
yeso was used in Spain quite a lot before as bonding material for internal brick partition walls or as rendering material for interior walls. Mainly because it was cheap as compare to the more expensive finishinfgplaster (escayola or estuco) and could be then painted with whitewash or pure lime (also cheap), the problem is that if you tried to put emulsion paint later on a "yeso" wall you had to apply first a coat of sealant (or PVU glue as it is used today) in order to stop the surface from being too porous/absorbent, hence using less paint and avoiding the risk of peeling.
Therefore, you option is right as there are more "materiales de yeso" than just escayola.

Explanation:
plaster is yeso and gypsum is aljez o piedra de yeso o yeso crudo o yeso natural o mineral de yeso, however if it is for a construction company they will know what aljez is.
