¿How can I express this? It's an installation guide for certain composites to repair pipes.

The tape shall be spirally wrapped around the pipe from right to left or left to right **using a 50% overlap**. At the end of the first wrap, apply **a 100% overlap** before reversing the direction of the wrap and continue to apply the Syntho-Glass XT. Do not reverse the direction of the application without
completing an entire wrap along the length of the repair area

Each completed Syntho-Glass XT application shall have the specified number of layers, and be the specified
total length, as stated by NRI’s Composite Calculator. **Each pass at 50% overlap** provides 2 layers towards
your total repair thickness. For example: to achieve a 10 layer application, apply 5 passes **using a 50%
overlap**.
