English term or phrase: containing yellows
Dear Spanish translators

Como estan?

Les puedo hacer una preguntita?
Hace unas semanas un traductor tradujo lo siguiente:

Source lang:
[xx] of the white balance setting has been improved to better accommodate subjects containing yellows.

Translation:
La opcion {XX} de la configuracion del balance de blancos se ha mejorado para reproducir mejor los sujetos que contengan amarillos.

The client is asking if writing "contienen" instead of "contengan" is better.

Please let me know if "que contengan amarillos" is right or not. Kindly tell me the reason.

En la ultima parte: "que contengan amarillos"

Tu crees que es mejor escribir: "que contienen amarillos" (gramatica)

Due to medicine,I can't think or remember well the grammar things right now, however I have to give an answer.
Thanks a lot!

Mil gracias!

contengan (tonos) amarillos
Explanation:
I would add "tonos", and would say "contengan" because "accommodate subjects containing yellows" would probably indicate just any subjects, but not precise, known subjects.

But since English does not make a grammatical distinction in such cases, it is a judgment call. You could also say "contienen". Neither version is correct or incorrect, and either one can be OK. It just boils down to what you want to say, and English is no help there, it just does not define it.

And don't take any medicine that does not come out of a wine bottle.
