Explanation:
a 'roof-light' is like a skylight, i.e. a window allowing light to enter a room from above, rather than through a wall, although whilst a skylight is often flat (a glazed hole in a flat roof), a roof-light tends to be on a sloping part of the roof (like a Velux window).
