English term or phrase: mass change
As a result of a general change, it may be necessary to replace a certain component in all or several bills of material (BOMs). This type of change is referred to as a mass change. You can use the mass change function to change items in several BOMs at once.
With this function you can create a new material item, document item or class item in several BOMs that contain a specific reference object. The object type of the reference object and the new item is irrelevant. For example, you can create a document in all BOMs that contain a particular material item.
