English term or phrase:silo-like architectures
In an Adaptive Enterprise, business and IT are linked to drive growth.
IT breaks away from the inflexible, ***silo-like architectures*** of the past to deliver more value to the business.
as a "real" architect, I hate it when software developers use the same word to describe their work, which is what I think is happening here. This seems to have to do with computers/programming. Nothing to do with buildings.
