English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Medical - Marketing / Market Research / patient survey | | English term or phrase: doctor's office | | A market research company needs to ask permission to interview patients in the waiting room of several doctors' offices. It is contacting the "office manager" of such offices (I've asked for help translating that term in a separate question), and referring to "your office" throughout the recruitment process. "doctor's office" in this context is referring to a medical facility or practice (not a hospital) in which doctors see patients on an outpatient basis, but where there is also an administrative framework (i.e. someone else is in charge of managing the office, scheduling the doctors and the patients, etc.). I am tempted to call it "consultorio médico", but I also want to make clear that I am refering to the facility as an administrative AND medical entity (not just an examination room, but also not just an office where people answer phones either). The survey will be conducted in the United States, so the Spanish is aimed at Spanish-speaking people living in the United States. |
