El contexto es el siguiente:
"There are a number of factors which are beginning to converge in an almost **perfect storm**, which include amongst others; the slow and challenging economic climate linked to a scarceness of credit and capital..."

Encontré el término "tormenta perfecta" en Internet, pero quería consultar la opinión de ustedes...

En este link "tormenta perfecta" está entre comillas, porque justamente se usa un término marítimo en sentido figurado.
