English to Spanish translations [PRO] Marketing - Marketing / Market Research | | English term or phrase: Curl up and dye | Training material regarding business plans, market analysis and alike. This phrase appears as an example of the message a company communicates.
"The name 'Curl Up and Dye' might be a creative name for a hair salon in writing, but potential customers may not be impressed when they call to make an appointment and are greeted with, “Curl up and die.”
I'm having trouble in creating an expression that could convey the same in Spanish, both written and oral!
It does not have to necessarily be for a hair salon...
Any suggestions are welcome, thank you very much!! |

| | curl up and dye | Explanation: En mi opinión, es imposible dar ambos sentidos y es preciso explicarlo. Habría que dejar la expresión en inglés en cursiva y explicar que, en inglés, la expresión "curl up and dye", que significa "enrular y teñir", suena igual que otra que quiere decir "hazte un ovillo y muérete" |
