The Hershel-Bulkley/Yield-Power Law model better correlates with lab measured sag coefficients, since it more accurately describes fluid behavior at low shear rate. A LSYP (low shear yield point) of 7 to 15 lbs/100 sq ft will normally be enough to reduce the static sag in field drilling fluids to acceptable levels.
Low Shear Rheometers can be used for Barite Sag prediction. Some drilling fluid companies have the ability to predict sag potential using specialized equipment.

No soy capaz de dar referencias (es complicado -creo- encontrarlas para el conjunto), pero soy ingeniero metalúrgico...

Fluencia, claro, puede no ser el término adecuado (a falta de mayor contexto). Lo que sí me parece claro es que, aquí, "yield" es el punto en que el material "cede". Pero si se habla de cizallamiento, no acabaría de ver claro que el resultado sea "fluencia"...

Explanation:
Sin desmerecer las propuestas de Psicutrinius y Yaotl, por lo que he podido ver se refiere a la resistencia de materiales, a la deformación o desplazamiento producidos por el efecto de tensiones.Pienso que deformación es un término más genérico y por lo mismo más seguro de usar en este contexto que desplazamiento.Saludos.
