English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) | | English term or phrase: Material field | One of the senteces I have to translate is:
'Attached please find the general and specific material field targets for the departments of Indirect Purchasing for 2011'
"Adjunto encontrarán los MATERIAL FIELD objetivos generales y específicos para los departamentos de Compras Indirectas para el 2011"
Can you help me with that term?

Hello,
I think that in this phrase the word 'material' modifies the term 'field targets', which is a common database term (and hence relevant to purchasing departments):
field targets = campos de destino (see Microsoft links listed below)
'Materials field' means 'campo de materiales', but the context and the use of the singular (material) points to a different meaning. It seems to me that they're referring to the categories of materials that will be used on purchasing documents during 2011.
