En el glosario de Saladrigas y colaboradores, he encontrado que este tipo de gráficos en inglés en realidad se llama Forest plot (y también se conoce como blobbogram, forest diagram, meta-analysis diagram, meta-analysis plot, odds-ratio diagram, odds-ratio plot, OR diagram, OR plot) y lo traducen como gráfico (o diagrama) de bosque. ¿Existe alguna traducción que transmita mejor la idea de la información que proporciona este gráfico (como diagrama de oportunidad relativa o algo por el estilo)?

The name refers to the forest of lines produced. In September 1990, Richard Peto joked that the plot was named after a breast cancer researcher called Pat Forrest and the name has sometimes been spelt "forrest plot"."

Como te dije en la otra consulta, yo conocía este tipo de gráfico (utilizado para presentar los resultados de un metanálisis) con el nombre de gráfico (o diagrama) de efectos.
Como te comenté, creo que es la primera vez que no me convence una traducción prpuesta en el Glosario EN-ES de ensayos clínicos de Saladrigas y col. En la nota de la entrada 'forest plot' de este glosario se lee lo siguiente: «Gráfico sinóptico utilizado en los metanálisis para visualizar de forma conjunta los resultados individuales de los distintos estudios analizados y la estimación del resultado global, mediante un auténtico bosque de líneas horizontales.»

Ahora bien, como te dije, no logro ver el "auténtico bosque" del que hablan en, por ejemplo, el diagrama que figura en este manual:

Me parece mucho más claro hablar de diagrama o gráfico de efectos, puesto que, como dicen en la página que acabo de citar, se trata de "a plot that shows the effect size and precision for each study and for the combined effect."
No obstante, a juzgar por lo que se encuentra en internet, hay que reconocer que la traducción literal (gráfico/diagrama de bosque) parece ser bastante frecuente.
