Ensayo que se enfoca con el objetivo de evitar la rotura que a menudo se produce en las
zonas de sujeción de la muestra al realizar ensayos uniaxiales, debido a concentraciones
de tensiones y tensiones multiaxiales.El ensayo consiste en una probeta de sección transversal reducida en la zona central, tal
y como se muestra en la Figura 2.3. Se le conoce comúnmente como muestra en forma
de hueso de perro. Esta geometría sirve para restringir la fisuración en dicha región
central y facilitar de esta manera la medición de los desplazamientos (Banthia et al.,1993), y evitar el problema que presentan los ensayos uniaxiales explicado con
