mil cuatrillones de años
Explanation:

Gracias, Teju :)

disagree Richard Benham: I believe the author is referring to a specific number, and you can't substitute just any old number....

agree Richard Benham: You could well be right, if Spanish numbers work like this. I know they do in quite a few languages.//Good, then I agree with you, but the situation in English is not so simple...!
2 mins
  -> In Spanish, a billion is a million million, not a thousand million like in English. A million million million million is a "cuatrillón"

10^27 años

Explanation:
Assuming that the "million"s aren't just added for rhetorical effect, and an actual number is intended, this is it.

The "^27" is meant to indicate a superscript 27.

You could also write a 1 with 27 zeroes after it, if you had time.

Note: in UK English, a billion used to be a million million, a trillion was a million billion (i.e. a million million million), etc. In the US a billion is a thousand million, then a trillion is a thousand thousand million (i.e. a million million), etc.

A few years ago now, the UK changed over to the US system; so I suspect this rather longwinded formulation is intended to avoid any confusion between the old and new systems.

Alejandro having confirmed what I thought about Spanish numbers, I support his suggestion.

milcuatrillones

Explanation:
Números que están formados multiplicando el diez por sí mismo un número determinado de veces.
Cuando están escritos en base diez esos números terminan en ese número de ceros. Las primeras potencias de diez son:

10=101 = diez
100=102 = cien
1000=103 = mil
1000000=106 = milln
1000000000=109 = millardo
1000000000000=1012 = billn
10^15 = milbillones
10^18 = trilln
10^21 = miltrillones
10^24 = cuatrilln
10^27 = milcuatrillones
10^30 = quintilln
10^33 = milquintillones

agree Richard Benham: You got the superscripts all wrong in the first few (written as part of the base), but this is the right idea.//When you copied, the superscripts were converted to plain numbers.
