En un manual de un motor de inducción:

"Main causes of high temperature:

Motor Conditions

- Voltage and frequency variation of the power source is in excess of tolerance.
- Unbalanced three phase voltage; open circuit or poor contact.
- Insufficient or excessive lubrication.
- Abnormal frequency of starts.
- Single-phasing due to open or short circuits.

Blocked ventilation ducts = ductos de ventilación bloqueados o bloqueo de los ductos de ventilación.

Explanation:
Regifreración es enfriar el aire, como opuesto a ventilar con la temperatura del aire en el momento presente.
No sé si se utiliza el término "refrigeración" del aire o si es más normal el uso de "enfriamiento del aire" con la temperatura del aire en ese momento , pero por si acaso lo pongo.

Supongo que dependerá del país al que vaya dirigido (source target) que sea "enfriamiento" o "refrigerado"... en realidad el significado es el mismo.

Todo motor eléctrico levanta temperatura por la ley de Ohm. Es necesario disipar ese calor para que no se acumule y esto se logra venteos mediante. El mismo rotor hace de impulsor.
