" Dual parallel burners
Two pipe ribbon burners that run along the length of the unit to provide additional heat to the edges of the paper as the paper passes above.
They can be adjusted for a minimum paper width of 24” (610 mm) to a maximum width of 56” (1422 mm).
Single perpendicular burner
A ribbon burner located perpendicular to the paper paths heats across the middle 48” (1219 mm) of the paper.
Ignition & Sensing Electrode
There is an Ignition Electrode located on the feed end of each burner.
The tip is positioned 1/8” (3 mm) to 3/16” (5 mm) from the burner ribbon to ignite it properly.
The tip may be re-bent to get a good reading if required.
On the opposite end of the burner from the Ignition Electrode, there is a Sensing Electrode that monitors the flame. This arrangement ensures that the complete length of the burner is lit at all times. These Electrodes are controlled by the Flame Safety Module."
