En este apartado en concreto describe cómo se tiene que llevar a cabo la elevación y manipulación de las válvulas, una vez desembaladas. No entiendo muy bien el término. Aquí va el contexto:

Do not pick up valves by use of straps or chains on or around the handwheels, yoke, bevel gear, motor or cylinder operator, or any override attachment.

Podría ser: Sujeción desplazada????

"SUJECCIÓN MANUAL"...

"override" tiene el sentido de "invalidar un sistema de control autómatico y pasarlo a control manual". Significa en el ámbito técnico "control manual".

Por ello, IMO quiere decir que no se utilicen correas, cadenas ni ningún otro aparato o sistema que implique la manipulación manual a la hora de elevar las válvulas.
