The only context I have is that the "kick" is also an horizontal axis (X axis), as opposed to the "descent axis" (Y axis) and the "traverse axis" (Z axis).

Intead of 'avance' (if you want) you can introduce something that sounds a bit more 'agressive', so that it matches the original (main arm kick). something like 'descarga frontal'.
