Me resulta raro que el DRAE dé estas definiciones:

subestimar.
1. tr. Estimar a alguien o algo por debajo de su valor.

sobrestimar.
1. tr. Estimar algo por encima de su valor.

Mi pregunta es: ¿se olvidaron del "alguien" en la segunda definición? o ¿sobrestimar se usa únicamente para cosas?

neutral  felicianomadrid: "Estimar" y sus derivados, en puridad, sólo se aplican a cosas , pues una de las acepciones de " estimar" es tasar o calcular el valor de algo. Los otros usos son anglicados o impropios.
