diferencia entre baterías y pilas (NOT FOR GRADING)


Explanation:
Según el diccionario, la diferencia entre baterías y pilas es el tamaño. En realidad, no es sólo el tamaño sino su forma y cómo funcionan. A algunas se las llama de las dos maneras, como las baterías o pilas de un reloj pulsera (esas chatitas chiquititas). Las de las radios y juguetes, esas comunes cilíndricas, alcalinas, son PILAS. Si se parecen mucho a esas, aunque no sean alcalinas, siguen siendo PILAS. Las cuadradas, de 9 volts, son BATERÍAS, o al menos en mi casa siempre se les dijo así. Las de vehículo, siempre BATERÍAS, nunca pilas. Si estamos hablando de un "battery pack" como para un teléfono inalámbrico o celular, es batería, una sola, o paquete de baterías, así lo traduzco.
