This indicator resembles a bucket which is full at 100% ultrasound signal and empties as the signal decreases (see examples on right). A properly functioning flowprobe will have 100% Signal Quality when immersed in water. If the Signal Quality during an initial saline test falls below 50%, DO NOT USE THE PROBE. If, when flow is being measured, the received signal is below 15%, the Meter Display will read “NO SIGNAL” to indicate an ultrasound signal error condition.
