Les escribo porque tengo una gran confusión con estos términos. No sé si se refieren a lo mismo o no ni si su traducción al español debía ser algo así como ¨etiqueta¨ o ¨etiquetado¨o ¨rótulo¨ etc.
Como les dije, es un documenbto de la UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY y la parte en cuestión que me da problemas reza así
¨The labeling referred to above, which adds XXXX to the label, submitted in connection with registration is acceptable. Please be aware that the website becomes labeling under the Federal Insecticide Act and is subject to review by the Agency.
¿Al principio lo ideal sería hablar de la ANTEDICHA MARCA, que agrega XXX ¿a la MARCA? ¿Y a qué podría referirse esto de que THE WEBSITE BECOMES LABELING?

Según mi interpretación (y no soy experta)
Etiquetado se referiría a la manera de redactar/colocar las etiquetas (agregando a la mismas XXXX, probablemente para cumplir algún requisito de la EPA)
Interpreto que 'the website becomes labeling' significa que la página web queda sujeta a los mismos controles que las etiquetas.
¿O se refiere LABEL y LABELING a ¨a radioactive isotope, fluorescent dye, or enzyme used to make something identifiable for study¨ como me aparece en un diccionario monolingüe que tengo?
