objetivos interdisciplinarios críticos / imprescindibles / fundamentales Explanation: (sería "outcomes") I don´t envy you. This seems to be a lot of blahblahblah. My proposition is as above. Critical cross-field outcomes: a set of generic outcomes defined by SAQA that must be observed in all standards. Close links exist with the abilities defined above. Assessment criteria: statements of performance which evidence competence against a specific outcome. (See specific outcome) Specific Outcome: These are contextually demonstrated knowledge. Skills and values, reflecting critical crossfield outcomes. (SAQA definition) (See Critical crossfield outcomes, assessment criteria) See: Objectives of the Program The basic purpose of the program that will lead to a qualification. These are the aims or intended outcomes spelt out in general terms. The Critical Crossfield Outcomes give academic specifics (see below). 23. Critical Crossfield Outcomes Those 12 outcomes which were determined for the new OBE to be of crucial importance: that they would be included in every field of study. The 5 here mentioned are the most prevalent ones in these courses and are therefore described in detail. 24. Fundamental Research Skills In order to successfully complete an M- or D-, the candidate has to write a Dissertation or Thesis in one specific fields and must acquire the skill of research in that field in order to gather data, analyse, understand and come to a conclusion. 25. Conventions and guidelines to academic studies That is those generally understood rules for M- and D- students and as CLT has and will spell them out including the use of a library, doing research, working with a project leader, doing independent research, the skill of dissertation writing, etc. 26. Scientific Methods of Investigation This is a study on its own and text books are available for this purpose. CLT is also compiling study guides and will put information and guidelines on the web. 27. Language conventions of written and oral use in the Ministry disciplines As in any field of study, Ministry also has its own way of saying certain things of specific interest to its field. Through the years of training the students will automatically understand these typical ways of speech and writing. http://www.clt.org.za/about/gloss.html. HTH Cheers! see above |
