Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae. Previously Haemophilus pleuropneumoniae. Some people write pleuroneumonia but the correct Latin form is pleuropneumoniae. 2. Pasteurella multocida. 3. Salmonella choleraesuis. 4. Streptococcus suis. 5. Foot rot in cattle (bovine) is called "gabarro" in Mexico. A more generic name is "pododermatitis" as it can be applied also to ovine, swine, etc. and is more descriptive of the problem itself, without regional terminology problems.
