Te copio lo que ya contesté en otroa ocasión a esta misma pregunta (http://www.proz.com/?sp=h&eid_c=22553&id=102560), aunque acabo de comprobar que la referencia incluida en el texto y la segunda que te pego abajo no están ya disponibles:
No hay un término equivalente en castellano. Es un dolor o hipersensibilidad que se produce en la pierna al forzar los músculos, de forma que por la tracción se inflaman y están sensibles, dando lugas a dolores o molestias mal definidos, que van y vienen. Muchas veces se usa el término en inglés, pero puedes traducirlo como he dicho o algo equivalente.
Te envío unas refernecias:
"Shin Splints: Dolor en cualquier lado del hueso de la pierna, causado por la inflamación del músculo o del tendón. Esta relacionado con excessive foot pronation (collapsing arch), pero puede estar relacionado con el imbalance del músculo entre ambas piernas. " (1ª ref)

Definition: Inflammation of the tendons on the inside of the front of the lower leg. " (2ª ref)
