¿VIH ARN RCP o RCP ARN VIH? Or should it be left in English? Or written out longhand in Spanish followed by the English abbreviations in parenthesis? I really don´t know what to do in this case... Thanks in advance for all your help!!!

Supongo que se refiere a la amplificación de RNA viral (o RNA.. ambos acrónimos se utilizan en español)mediante la reacción en cadena de la polimerasa.
Ésta es una reacción que permite obtener una cantidad grande de material genético determinado a partir de una muestra del mismo. Es una técnica muy empleada en genética y en medicina legal. Se emplea una retrotranscriptasa, que es una enzima capaz de transformar el RNA en DNA.
