Yo me atuve al contexto. La traducción de David es la correcta para "animal by-products", que en este caso está mal empleado.

I found something in google that merges what some of you have written down. It says "alimentos derivados de origen animal."

That merges what all of you are saying.

"subproductos de origen animal"
"productos derivados de origen animal"
"alimentos derivados de origen animal."

It appears that you are all correct!

I would hate to have to give one all the points because they all are valid!
