Estoy traduciendo un presupuesto para una artroscopia de cadera:

"Price of Procedure: [$] xxx (You must to produce a check to xxx Medical Center for this amount). Additional implants would incur additional charges at cost plus 10%. Add $ xxx per night for any overnight stay in a **med/surg room**

Me imagino que significa medical/surgery (o surgery) room, pero no sé a qué corresponde en español. Hubiera pensado que surgery room es quirófano, pero hablan sobre pernocta.

Sala de Cirugía / Habitación hospitalaria

Explanation:
Inicialmente creería se refiere a un quirófano o sala de cirugía, pero en base al contexto podría también referirse a una habitación hospitalaria, en el ala Médica o Quirúrgica del hospital, de allí el "Med/Surg Room".

Es una "intense care unit" o algo parecido, no una mera habitación del hospital, es decir de una sala en la que se está bajo supervisión médica intensiva y por lo tanto por ello se incrementa el coste.

Es decir que si la operación se complica y no le mandan a planta en el mismo día que pase por quirófano tendrá que hacer frente a esos gastos adicionales por noche que pase en la UCI o en los Boxes de internamiento
