¿Qué palabra sería la más idónea para el verbo "to focus" aquí? Focalizar quizás??

Hacer que la imagen de un objeto producida en el foco de una lente se recoja con claridad sobre un plano u objeto determinado.
La definición y la práctica comprueban que lo de (los objetos) resulta redundante.
