La GRAVEDAD ESPECÍFICA de un fluido, también conocida como DENSIDAD RELATIVA, es la relación entre la densidad del fluido dado (orina es en este caso) y la densidad del agua a 4°C.

GRAVIDEZ es sinónimo de *embarazo* y su relación con "gravedad" en español moderno está limitada a la etimología y al aumento de peso que experimenta la mujer embarazada.

RELATIVE DENSITY is the measure of the density of something compared to the density of something else. Most densities of liquids are compare to the density of water, and this is called SPECIFIC GRAVITY. So, if you know the SPECIFIC GRAVITY of a fluid, and you already know the density of water, you can find the density of that fluid by multiplying the density of water times the specific gravity.
