English term or phrase: In Mr. Tupper's

Esta expresión aparece en el encabezamiento de unos partes militares de la Guerra de la Independencia española de 1812. El tal Tupper es quien firma las cartas, y no estoy seguro si ese "Mr. Tupper's" hace referencia al lugar desde donde escribe el militar, que en otras cartas aparece explícito (Alicante), pero en otras aparece así. Se trata de una transcripción de las cartas originales, que en su día me enseñaron pero que fueron ttranscritas por otra persona.

Particulars of News received from Valencia.
On the 14th ins[tan]t Suchet entered Valencia with great pomp & parade. Illuminations were ordered for three days. A contribution of 2 Millions of rials ready cash and 20 Millions in 3 Instalments (since reduced to 12) has been imposed upon the City. The Inhabitants have been disarmed. All the friars collected together in the Convent of S[an] Francisco; those above 50 Years of Age have been allowed to remain and the others sent to Murviedro. All the Guerilleros have been assembled in the Plaza S[an]to Domingo, those that are married, have been disarmed & sent home, the others were locked up in S[a]n Miguel de los Reyes and it is supposed would either be sent to France or made to take arms with the Juramentados. The Archbishop who was at Gandia; was sent for by the French and re-instated in his functions. On the 17th the French issued an order for the confiscation of British property and calling upon the Inhabitants to give up an Inventory of English goods in their possession.
