Explanation:

Supongo que se trate de una explotación minera subterránea y no de una cantera. De ser así, estaríamos hablando del "trencito y sus vagones" que salen de la estación y pueden estacionarse en el punto apropiado del frente de extracción. Se trataría entonces de "estación" y "punto de estacionamiento". Si partí de una suposición errada ...borrón y cuenta nueva...y marcha atrás con todos mis vagones.
