English term or phrase: the drums have to sit with the loop.
Hi Everybody!

I need help with the translation of these two sentences.

Cause the drums have to sit with the loop.
The loop actually occupies almost the front end of the drum kit.

HERE IS SOME CONTEXT:

The secret with playing this groove is you have to play it quietly. You don't want to play it too loud.' Cause the drums have to sit with the loop. The loop actually occupies almost the front end of the drum kit. I'm almost playing a supportive role to this.

I find the meaning of loop like this:

Any ideas for the translation of the 2 sentences? I don´t know much about music :(

Thanks!!

Explanation:
When I’m not translating, I "moonlight" recording CDs for start-up bands, and this is the way it would be said in Chile, at least.

The "loop" here is just a background track of other instruments, which is commonly referred to as a "pista" or "secuencia", and your text is basically just saying that the drum track that is being added to that "pista" needs to fit in properly (not too loud, not to soft, and equalized suitably to fit in with the rest of the music).
