English term or phrase: marching band
I dropped out of high school but I always wanted to be in the MARCHING BAND. I always wanted to be but I never learned to read music so I can't read music. There's no way that I could sit with an instructor or band leader and play along with everyone else so this is fulfilling my MARCHING BAND fantasies for sure.

agree  Сергей Лузан: "de la escuela/instituto/ nuiversidad".

(como en el 'gag' de Woody Allen (was it in Take the Money and Run)?

This is from the Internet to show there are different types of bands:

\"concert band\" has music that is completely different than the \"marching band\"

Torrey Lawrence joined the faculty of the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho as Assistant Professor of Music in the Fall of 1998. His teaching duties include the tuba/euphonium studio, Vandal Marching Band, Concert Band, Brass Instrument Techniques, and Marching Band Rehearsal Techniques. Banda de la escuela

Explanation:
Saludos
