English term or phrase: nutrient
¡Tengo una duda!

Would you use "sustancias (o substancias) nutritivas" or "nutrientes"? Or another term?

Context, e.g.: "Those provide empty calories that don’t give you or your growing baby the important nutrients you need. Instead, make sure the food you eat is rich in protein, iron, calcium, folic acid, and other nutrients."

¡Gracias colegas!

Explanation:
El inglés suele abreviar demasiado. En español hay que moderar esa tendencia.
