Creo que no es necesario traducir meal. Al mencionarse la clase de alimento específico (desayuno), es claro que se trata de un producto alimentario. De ahí mi propuesta, con suerte y te sirve.
Me gusta más rico en proteínas, la otra opción es más rollera pero esencialmente lo mismo.
