agree  Leo van Zanten: De acuerdo pero quiero agregar que no veo para qué necesitas mayúsculas acentuadas si no se usan.

  -> si se acentúan, anteriormente no se hacía porque las máquinas de escribir no podían acentuarlas, por eso se acordó que no se acentuaran, ahora no solo se pueden, sino deben acentuarse

I don't speak Spanish, but that's how I got the A with a tilde over it. I presume this ~ is the tilde, and not the grave accent `?

Perhaps someone could translate this into Spanish for me?

Hola Bertha,
Si estás usando Word, es más fácil irte a Insertar, luego símbolo y el tipo de letra que esté usando (ahí hay una ventana para elegirlo)donde te aparecen tooooodas las letras con acentos, tildes, cedillas, etc. Además puedes personalizarlo o usar las teclas que aparecen ahí.
