English term or phrase: Alfred P. Sloan Professor
Parte de un artículo científico. Quiero confirmar si para estos casos la traducción correcta es

...profesor de la cátedra Alfred P. Sloan de Metereología del Instituto Tecnológico Massachusetts...

Averigüé que el mentado Alfred P. Sloan fue " a young graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology when he took over the troubled Hyatt Roller Bearing Company and made it a success. In 1918, Hyatt Roller Bearing became part of General Motors Corporation. Alfred P. Sloan served as President of General Motors from 1923 to 1937 and as Chairman of the Board from 1937 to 1956. Under his leadership, the GM management organization became a model for large corporations around the world."

"Not all scientists accept the IPCC findings. Many distinguished researchers argue that the panel's approach is too simplistic. For instance, Dr Richard Lindzen, Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, USA, suggests that clouds over the tropics act as an effective thermostat and that any future warming because of increased carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere could be significantly less than current models predict."
