This refers to the custom, associated with Easter, of adults hiding eggs (sometimes real boiled ones, sometimes chocolate or plastic) around a yard or house. Children then walk around with baskets trying to find as many eggs as they can.

As some colleagues have pointed out, I should mention that an \"Easter Egg Hunt\" is not a traditional custom in Latin American countries...nor really are Easter Eggs for that matter. Just so\'s you know.
