Mi pregunta es para "reinstate", reintegrar en este contexto no lo veo claro. Supongo que significa en otras palabra "aprovechar la reserva, ya que ya habían dado el deposito".
¿Alguien me puede ayudar?

rehabilitar va bien en este contexto, y es una de las traducciones de reinstate. Rehabilitar la reserva.

Bueno, el frío de la mañana me tiene medio mal. No quise poner, otra acepción, sino que no me parece incorrecta tu idea de reintegrar en el sentido de que les devuelvan el depósito o parte de él.

Entiendo que sí, que se trata de aprovechar la primera reserva que se canceló por el motivo que fuera.

Confieso que nunca he oído que una reserva de hotel "se dé de alta", pero el significado parece ser éste.

Entiendo que se alojarán en el hotel todas las noches salvo la primera, para la que han hecho los "alternative arrangements"

Quizá sea otra posibilidad (?)
