Me parece innecesario especificar "carne de ostra", ya que son pocos los aficionados a comerse lo de fuera. Aunque, en búsqueda de afrodisiacos, cualquier cosa es posible... :-)

Explanation:
Creo que sí tienes que traducirlo así, puesto que según la frase, el afrodisíaco no es la carne de ostra en sí, sino la sustancia "flavanoids" que se encuentra en ella.
