English term or phrase: Kick a man when he's down.

I'm looking for a phrase that would translate into idiomatic Castillian the English phrase 'You really know how to kick a man when he's down'. A straightforward translation would be easy enough, but would a Spanish-speaker ever say something like that? What would he or she use to express the idea that a person is willing to take advantage of another's misfortune, perhaps even with a hint of Schadenfreude?
