Parsnips = pastinacas es un pez marino comestible del orden de los selacios.
Rhubarb = Ruibarbo (es la palabra mas conocida)
Salt substitute = Opino que puedes usar cualquiera de los dos :substituto o sucedáneo. Prefiero esta última.

Thank you. "Pastinaca" is an ichthyologic term, of course, but when I found it as a botanical term for "parsnip" in
a dictionary, I began to wonder. Apparently "ruipóntico" is limited to botanical & pharmaceutical contexts. Again, I
only knew "ruibarbo" so I began to wonder. You have straightened me out. Thanks again.
