"Te amo", or "Te quiero" Explanation: "Te amo" refers more to a romantic relationship, whereas "te quiero" would be a the more general address.... you wouldn't tell your mother, for instance, "Te amo, Madre", unless your name is Oedipus Rex.....but it is certainly appropriate to say, "Te quiero, Madre" |
