administración de la justicia, seguridad pública Explanation: These two terms basically are the closest equivalents; as a career activity the first would be the best. The difficulty of course, is that "enforcement" has no clean, direct translation into Spanish, thus many different solutions are needed according to context. |

fuerza policial Explanation: I've used "fuerza policial" for law enforcement in some translations. In this case, like it has already been suggested, if it talks about law enforcement careers, "carreras policiales" would be ok. |

seguridad pública Explanation: That's the short answer, for the general field. "Carreras policiales" would serve in referring to the specific line of work. I do a lot of translation/interpreting for law enforcement, knowing the target country would help. |
