English term or phrase: facing away
To face something away from you. Seems simple enough in English, but have not been able to think of a way to explain the idea in Spanish. Here for example we are talking about 'facing the tyre valve away from you'.

That can be some translations of that phrase, but they refer to people not to things.

retirar (el objeto)/ retirarse (uno) del objeto

Explanation:
La verdad es que es difícil encontrar la forma de expresar la misma idea con un verbo. Se puede decir algo parecido con fórmulas como "retirar", "mantenerse alejado", "no apuntar". Espero que te sea de ayuda esta lista que, por supuesto, es ampliable y mejorable. Un saludo :))
