Recuerda que para hacer una traduccion muchas veces tienes que cambiar sin alterar la idea principal. Posiblemente el texto a traducir incluye personajes con estudios en quimica. Y en particular esa expresion la utilizan cientificos, despues de todo el urethano es un compuesto gelatinoso y transparente que se parece a las lagrimas en apariencia.
