kellyn: 6:28pm Jun 7, 2004: a general context: usually the phrase implies a 'challenging' tone. Either like "can you believe THAT nonsense?" or "you didn't believe it, but now that you read THAT, NOW what do you think?" I will try to think of a Spanish equivalent.... -

¿A qué es fuerte?

Explanation:
fuerte in the "too much" sense. very colloquial(Spain).. as is the english phrase.
could mean nonsense, or could be an unbelievable situation.. very cheeky, or unfortunate, bad luck,..or what have you.
just looking for some sympathy from listener.
