Iara, quiero hacer una aclaración respecto a mi respuesta previa (transatlánticos). Creo que la traducción depende del contexto. Si se refiere a embarcaciones de recreo con recorridos transoceánicos, la traducción más adecuada sería efectivamente "transatlánticos". Si por el contrario, incluye cualquier embarcación capacitada para navegar por el océano (de recreo, petroleros, barcos de pesca...) en contraposición con embarcaciones fluviales, la traducción correcta sería "embarcaciones marítimas", como han señalado Fernado Goya y CCW. :-)
